Vision
We believe that movement and expression are for everyone! Our vision is to create a welcoming space for creativity, education, and connection through the platforms of flamenco dance, movement workshops, and flow classes, as well as performances and workshops throughout Sedona and Arizona's Verde Valley.
Founder
Elina Zavala is a professional dancer, choreographer, and interdisciplinary performance artist specializing in flamenco dance, Latin jazz, and movement-based theatre. A BFA graduate of Arizona State University, she has performed internationally with artists including guitarist Nathan Herrera, Gogol Bordello, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, while creating original works that blend dance, live music, and multimedia.
Elina trained in New York City with The SITI Company, Dionisia Garcia, Belén Maya, and The Peoples Improv Theatre, and has toured and taught extensively. While living in the Cayman Islands, she founded the performance ensembles Flamenco Caribe and Trio Vivo, and premiered her solo work Salty Kisses at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. She also pursued advanced flamenco studies in Sevilla, Spain with renowned artists including Miguel Vargas, Juan Polvillo, Ángel Atienza, Leonor Leal, and Úrsula López.
Now based in Northern Arizona, Elina performs at festivals, cultural events, and private engagements while teaching movement workshops and flamenco to students of all ages. In 2026, she founded Sedona Flamenco & Flow, combining her love of flamenco, flow arts, and creative expression in her Sedona classes!
